Wow, it's been totally like a year or something.... wowsers

Sunday, October 26, 2008

Sure is nice hanging out with family. Well, all except Zack, of course. Nice too seeing friends from church up here. Seems like Raquel is always working when we come up here... sensing strange conspiracy going on...
Nice to have a couple days off of work and a warm, friendly place to stay here in the land of Up Nort'. Andrea and I are 'southern' folk now, as it takes a handful of hours driving north to get to Mom and Dads. Still hard to believe that the years are spinning by faster and faster, now I only have one sibling left who is not driving on the road. Yikes! Then of course, most of what used to be the little people at church are now driving, at least the ones that are still on this continent... Poor Thea will have to cancel any plans for running marathons, at least for the nest couple of weeks. Hoping and praying that knee heels well and soon.
Keep praying for things on the farm where Andrea's parants live. They are still trying to get things lined up so that they can use their new robotic milker and have it pass the inspector's scrutiny. I'll definitely have to post pics when that gets running. Well, hope it doesn't snow till we get back home to Monroe...

Okay, so I'd better give you some news before this site just turns over and grows moss on the other side too... So Andrea and I live in Monroe now, home to the city engulfing Cheese Days festival, which happens to be going on right now while we are away, as Andrea is in the wedding of one of her best friends. So I'm doing errends while she's taking pictures and all that other great stuff, whatever it is that all the bridesmaids do before the wedding... Anyhoo, I'm enjoying my work at Walgreens, and there is no lack of new things that come up to learn and deal with. The place where we live is finally unpacked, I even have all but a couple of pictures already on the walls. It's been fun finding all of our things that have been packed away for so many months... we even were able to get our large couch up the stairs and into the living room. So if you're ever in the area, stop on by and pay us a visit!

I am officially not a regular xanga user... seeing the number of posts in the last year. Well, I don't have too much news since I wrote last. I did change jobs, and am currently waiting to find out what location I'll be assigned to for the next however-long-it-is period. We might be moving to Monroe, WI, but that kind of is still to be seen. Andrea has been helping put the robotic milker in at her family's farm, and I've been helping out once in awhile in between learning all the aspects of my new job. We just bought a volleyball net of our own, just to show the depth of commitment we have to the sport...

Well, hopefully I'll have some pictures the next time I post. Until then, all the best!

Hey all,

Wow, it just seems hard to believe how fast time is flying. Guess you knew that by looking at how long it's been since I last posted. Well, sorry, you'll still have to wait a little bit for Andrea and my wedding pictures, but while you wait you can see a couple from Sean & Karen Greer's wedding that I was able to stand up in last weekend. Also I've added a couple of my bride and I in a snow cave that Joel and I made one afternoon before lunch.

More news to come later, we'll just have to see how much later that happens to be...
